  Biography
  Formerly chief executive at Kingston Hospital (for 15 years), John has extensive knowledge on leading complex organisational change, rationalising clinical services and merging institutions. Working across national government, regional bodies and within local organisations John has worked at the most senior level of an NHS Trust. Demonstrating extensive awareness of the complexities of health and social care models and systems John's approach has been to raise understanding, achieve agreement and support people to innovate and deliver. As a result in a number of very senior NHS posts John has made a real difference to the quality and effectiveness of health care. He firmly believes in staff engagement and good communications as key tools for service and organisational development, and is delivery focused, facilitative, a natural and motivated communicator, an innovator and high achiever.
