  Biography
  Zahra Alexander is skilled at embedding risk management culture and processes throughout organisations. Having trained as an occupational health nurse adviser before pursuing health and safety qualifications she later embarked on a career in risk management. She led Kingston Hospital successfully through a number of external assessments by the Healthcare Commission, Health and Safety Executive, Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts and Risk Pooling Scheme for Trusts. Prior to working at Kingston Hospital she was a Health and Safety Adviser and an Occupational Health Manager working predominantly in the NHS but has successfully established occupational health services in the private sector. She has an extensive track record of successful development of integrated risk management programmes, including trust -wide incident reporting and risk assessment. She has established risk registers compliant with the assurance framework.
